Part 17 – A Look At Our New Habitation – Pt 1

Every time God creates a new creature, He creates a new habitat for it. And every time, the habitat and the creature match each other.

Angels are spiritual, invisible, and everlasting. Their habitat is the other realm, which is spiritual, invisible, and everlasting.

Fish are natural, and they breathe oxygen in water. Their habitat is water, which is natural and has oxygen in it.

Birds are natural, and use air currents in the sky to fly. Their habitat is the sky, which is natural and has air currents.

Animals are natural, and live on vegetation. Their habitat is land, which is natural, and has vegetation.

Adam and Eve were natural, innocent and protected. Their habitat was the Garden of Eden. It was natural, innocent, and safe.

Fallen Man is natural, fallen, and unprotected. His habitat is the natural, fallen, and unsafe world.

The New Man (Christians) is part natural, and part spiritual. So what is the habitat that God has made for him in which he should live? Certainly not the one in which we’ve found ourselves living!

Every species created by God has a unique habitat, created just for it. But one day, a life form was created by God that had no natural habitat. So God had to make one, and He “tailor made” it, just for this new species.

So as man is partly of the spiritual realm, and partly of the natural realm, God commissioned Jesus to make a new habitat, by bringing His habitat from the other realm, and combining it with this realm.

Jesus often referred to His habitat, as His “kingdom”. Change the one word “kingdom” to “habitat”, and see how He brought His habitat to earth.

Jesus said, ‘My kingdom [habitat] is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jews. But now my kingdom [habitat] is from another place.” (John 18:36, NIV).

As you go, preach this message:’ The kingdom [habitat] of heaven is near.’ (Matthew 10:7, NIV).

“The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom [habitat] of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!” (Mark 1:15, NIV).

But seek first his kingdom [habitat] and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. (Matthew 6:33, NIV).

“Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom [habitat]. (Luke 12:32, NIV).

Listen, my dear brothers: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom [habitat] he promised those who love him? (James 2:5, NIV).

But if I drive out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom [habitat] of God has come upon you. (Matthew 12:28, NIV).

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom [habitat] prepared for you since the creation of the world. (Matthew 25:34, NIV).

He said, “The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom [habitat] of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that, “‘though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand.’ (Luke 8:10, NIV).

In reply Jesus declared, “I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom [habitat] of God unless he is born again.” (John 3:3, NIV).

For the kingdom [habitat] of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. (Romans 14:17, NIV).
