Part 26 – Who Was The First Person To Live The Christian Life?
This may come as a complete surprise to you, but Jesus didn’t invent the Christian Life! The Christian live was lived before Jesus.
In fact, the Christian life existed before creation. The Christian life is older than space and time. The Christian life is not native to this planet. The Christian life is not native to, or made for, human beings.
The Christian life belongs exclusively to another life form, and can only belong to that other life form. And the Christian life can only be lived in that other realm! In the spiritual realm!
(14) I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world. … (16) They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. (John 17:14,16, NIV).
The Christian life cannot, and never has been, lived in the physical realm. It can only be manifested in the spiritual!
There is really only one Christian, and one person who can live the Christian life. And He lives that life, only in the realm of the spiritual. And that person, is not Jesus! Jesus Himself said, “Without the Father, I can do nothing”.
“By myself I can do nothing ….” (John 5:30, NIV).
(28) So Jesus said, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am [the one I claim to be] and that I do nothing on my own but speak just what the Father has taught me. (29) The one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what pleases him.” (John 8:28-29, NIV).
Jesus Himself said that He was unable to live the Christian Life. He could do nothing on His own. He relied on someone else, in order to live the Christian Life.
Who is the only person who can really live the Christian life? … God the Father! And God the Father has been living the Christian Life since before creation … in fact, before eternity past.
Whatever the Father does, is Christian. The Father is Christian. Whatever He is, is Christian, whatever He is not, is not Christian.
Does God pray, read His bible, go to church, tithe, and speak in tongues? So how does God live the Christian life? The truth is, He doesn’t! God doesn’t live the Christian Life. God IS the Christian Life. He IS the highest life, and only He, only the highest life can live the Christian life.
(21) … that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. (22) I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: (23) I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. (John 17:21-23, NIV).
If you do not have the highest life in you, you cannot live the Christian life. The Christian Life can only be lived by having the highest life in you.
However, if you do have the highest life within you, but you do not live by that life, you still cannot live the Christian life.
“Now they know that everything you have given me comes from you.” (John 17:7, NIV).
The Christian life is lived in the spiritual realm. It belongs to the spiritual realm, and can only be lived in the spiritual realm.
God alone can live the Christian Life. His life form, and His life form alone, can live the Christian Life.
